I have worked for the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service for more than 11 years, offering therapeutic interventions to adults from a variety of backgrounds to help them overcome their emotional difficulties. I also supervise the work of other CBT therapists in the NHS, including trainees.
I am currently collaborating with the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, which is part of the University of Oxford, in a year-long NHS clinical rollout study to treat post traumatic stress disorder using an innovative, online cognitive therapy programme.
I have also worked in secondary healthcare settings as an assistant psychologist and in the charitable sector as a voluntary support worker.

Education |
I completed my CBT training at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. Prior to gaining my CBT qualification, I completed a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree and a Master’s degree in Psychological Research Methods.
I also trained in low intensity CBT, known as guided self-help, to support people experiencing mild to moderate psychological difficulties. |
